Meet Alyssa

Alyssa Cairns is an interior designer from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She and her husband Mark own and operate Alcove Interiors, a full-service design, home improvement, and furniture studio.

Alyssa and Mark have three children, love to go camping and explore the Michigan outdoors, and are always trying out new recipes as a family.

A Chi Omega graduate from the University of Evansville, Alyssa connected with the housing manager of the Chi Omega chapter at Michigan State University- and together they created something beautiful! The house was in need of a style and furniture refresh, and Alyssa was able to plan and source everything quickly and efficiently.

What you can expect:

    Alyssa will work with your house manager via an online design studio to review all plans and approve furniture selections efficiently .

    Fabric samples will be sent in the mail to approve before ordering. All materials are highly durable, washable, and stain-proof.

    All items purchased through this program will receive 25% off retail pricing, as well as reduced handling fees so your budget goes farther.

  • white glove installation

    Don’t worry about getting boxes delivered- all items will be received and stored until your project is 100% ready for delivery by our team.

  • designer oversight

    Alyssa will guide every step of the process, and be on-site for installation (at least for all mid-west projects!) with detailed installation guides.
